Due to the perishable nature of poultry, meat, eggs, and related food products, returns are generally restricted. However, customer satisfaction and product quality remain our highest priority.

2. Nature of Products

Our products include fresh chicken, poultry cuts, eggs, processed poultry products, and other food-related items which are categorized as perishable goods.

Due to health, hygiene, food safety, and quality control regulations, returned food products cannot be restocked or resold once delivered.

3. Eligible Refund & Replacement Cases

Customers may be eligible for a refund, replacement, or store credit under the following situations:

  • Damaged Products: Products received in physically damaged, leaking, or tampered condition.
  • Spoiled or Unsafe Products: Products showing signs of spoilage, foul smell, discoloration, or freshness issues at the time of delivery.
  • Wrong Product Delivered: If the delivered item does not match the order placed by the customer.
  • Missing Items: If any item from the confirmed order is missing during delivery.
  • Poor Quality Concerns: Products that fail to meet our hygiene, freshness, packaging, or quality standards.
  • Delivery Damage: Product damage caused during transportation or delivery handling.

4. Conditions for Claim Approval

To process a refund or replacement request, customers must comply with the following conditions:

  • Complaint must be reported within 24 hours from the time of delivery.
  • Customers must provide valid proof including photos or videos clearly showing the issue.
  • Order ID, registered mobile number, and relevant purchase details must be shared.
  • Products should be stored properly after delivery according to food safety guidelines.
  • Claims may be rejected if the product has been heavily used, consumed, or mishandled.

5. Verification & Investigation Process

Once a complaint is received, our quality assurance team will review the request and verify the issue.

The verification process may include:

  • Review of customer-submitted photos/videos
  • Inspection of delivery and packaging records

6. Refund Resolution Options

7. Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Situations

Refunds or returns may not be accepted under the following circumstances:

  • Products already consumed, cooked, or partially used
  • Damage caused due to improper storage by the customer
  • Minor variations in weight, size, texture, or color natural to fresh poultry products

  • Delivery delays caused by customer unavailability
  • Products purchased during clearance, special discounts, or promotional campaigns unless defective

8. Order Cancellation Policy

Customers may request order cancellation before the order is processed or dispatched.

Once processing, packaging, or dispatch has started, cancellation may not be possible because poultry products are prepared fresh for each order.

In case of prepaid orders, approved cancellations will be refunded to the original payment method.

9. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are generally processed within 5 to 7 business days.

The actual credit time may vary depending on:

  • Bank processing timelines
  • UPI service providers
  • Debit/Credit card networks
  • Wallet or payment gateway processing

BHARAT POULTRY FARM is not responsible for delays caused by third-party banking or payment systems.

10. Food Safety & Storage Responsibility

Customers are advised to immediately refrigerate or freeze poultry products after delivery to maintain freshness and safety.

  • Exposure to heat or sunlight
  • Delayed consumption
  • Improper handling after delivery

11. Fraud Prevention & Abuse Policy

We reserve the right to deny refund or replacement requests in cases involving:

  • Repeated suspicious claims
  • False or manipulated evidence
  • Abuse of refund policies
  • Intentional misuse of products

Appropriate legal action may be taken in cases involving fraud or policy abuse.
